Physical DescriptionMedal made of white and cobolt enamel on 10K gold filled. Medal has a Lions Club insignia with two small diamonds in the center. Medal is attached to a blue ribbon attached to a gold pin. It is inscribed to John F. Kennedy on reverse: "Honorable John F. Kennedy President of the United States / Lions International Per Stahl President"
Additional DetailsCustodial History NoteItem was a gift from the Lions Club International to the President Kennedy received by the Executive Office of the President between 1961-1963 and held by the General Service Administration until it was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum by the Estate of President John F. Kennedy in 1965.
