In gold ink a Seal and "Estados Unidos Mexicanos" is embossed on upper left corner of front cover and in lower left corner: Hon. Pierre Salinger, Press Secretary to the President; Lower right corner embossed with signature: A. Mateos 1962.

Custodial History NoteItem was a gift to President Kennedy's press secretary Pierre Salinger from the President of Mexico. Mr. Salinger donated it to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum in 1992
