Physical DescriptionShip model of the "Glory of the Seas," built to scale with three rigged masts and full hull. The actual ship, 2102 tons, was one of the last of the great clipper ships built in 1869 at the Donald McKay shipyard in East Boston.
Historical NotePresident Kennedy displayed this ship model in the Oval Office of the White House.
