Physical DescriptionSteel nib pen with black plastic grip and translucent plastic handle. Written on handle in gold lettering is "The President - The White House." Pen was used by President Kennedy to sign the Bond Bill on October 2, 1962, 9:35 am to authorize the purchase of United Nations bonds.
Historical NoteBond bill "to promote the foreign policy of the United States by authorizing the purchase of United Nations bonds and the appropriation of funds therefore." This bill would authorize and appropriate up to $100 million for the purchase of United Nation Bonds.
