Physical DescriptionSilver lantern with electric candle, a reproduction of tin lantern which hung in the Old North Church in Boston, MA on the night of Paul Revere's famous ride in April 1775. The silver pair of these lanterns hung in President Kennedy's Oval Office.
Historical NoteThe set of silver lanterns was presented to President John F. Kennedy at the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner, Sheraton-Park Hotel, Washington, D.C. by Garnett D. Horner, reporter for the Washington Star and president of the White House Correspondents' Association.
