Historical NoteThis is one of two flags presented to President Kennedy during his state visit to Columbia on December 17, 1961 by President Lleras Camargo.

Custodial History NoteItem was a gift to President and Mrs. Kennedy from Alberto Lleras Camargo, President of Colombia. It was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library by the Estate of President John F. Kennedy in 1965.
