Physical DescriptionColored pencil rendering of a daybed with swan arm rests for Lincoln Sitting Room of the White House. The daybed was ca. 1830, made of mahogany, and covered by French paisley-patterned cotton fabric designed by Stephane Boudin (President of Jansen Inc.). Created as part of the White House redecoration project for the review and approval of Mrs. John F. Kennedy.
