Physical DescriptionWatercolor rendering of a window treatment with two yellow drapery panels, for the White House East Room, on grey construction paper. This design was not accepted, but the design for the fabric was, which was an antique gold and ivory silk lampas with repeating butterflies, flowers, wheat, rooster and cupids. Created as part of the White House redecoration project for the review and approval of Mrs. John F. Kennedy.
