Physical DescriptionWatercolor rendering of a gilt Bellange arm-chair with light blue upholstery decorated with an Empire floral motif on chair back and seat. This was Boudin's first proposal, which was rejected for Scalamandre's eagle idea. Created as part of the White House redecoration project for the review and approval of Mrs. John F. Kennedy.
