Historical NoteThis tie, from John F. Kennedy's personal wardrobe, was worn by President Kennedy. It was purchased at the world's first duty-free shop at the Shannon Free Airport, in Ireland.

Custodial History NoteThis tie was donated to the John F. Kennedy Library by the Estate of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis through the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation in 2009. It was worn by President Kennedy and was part of his personal wardrobe.
