Physical DescriptionCardstock with fabric samples of the drapery for the Family Dining room of the White House for the Parish - Hadley re-decoration project of the White House residence and state rooms.
Handwritten in black ink at the top of the page is The Family Dining Room. Attached to the cardstock is a sample of the saffron yellow silk faille fabric and an ivory taffeta fabric swatch, below sample of the ivory and yellow trim on left, ivory loop trim and breakfront yellow trim on right.

Historical NoteDescrition of Drapery: drapery of saffron yellow silk faille with soft, draped valances trimmed with yellow fringe held back with cords and tassels. Undercurtains of ivory taffeta edged with small loop fringe.
