Historical NoteFirst Lady Jacqueline Kennedy wore this gown to a fundraiser celebrating the first anniversary of the Kennedy inauguration at the National Guard Armory in Washington D.C. on January 20, 1962. She also wore the dress to a dinner in her honor in New Delhi, India on March 13, 1962.
