Physical DescriptionGrey napped wool twill weave single breasted vest with six buttons. Vest has a flat notched collar, four front welt pockets, pointed front hem, back belt with metal buckle closure. Full satin weave lining.
Historical NoteThis authentic vest from the personal wardrobe of President John F. Kennedy was worn with his Tail coat (MO 2009.3.257.1)
Additional DetailsCustodial History NoteThis vest was previously owned by John F. Kennedy. It was received by the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum in 1995 and held in courtesy storage until it was donated in 2009 by the Estate of Jacqueline Kennedy through the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation.
