Physical DescriptionThis belt is comprised of 11 open work floral pattern gold squares hinged together. Set in raised relief in the center of each square is a green and red enamel floral design outlined in diamonds and accented with ruby and emerald stones.
Historical NoteThis belt was presented to First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy by King Hassan II during his state visit to the White House on March 27, 1963.

Custodial History NoteItem was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum by the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation in 2009. It was given to the Foundation by the Estate of Mrs. Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis in 1995.
