Physical DescriptionGold medallion awarded to President Kennedy from National Football Foundation and Hall of Fame. Center of medallion has high relief of a football player caught in the action of kicking a ball surrounded by laurel leaves. Engraved around outer rim "The National Football Foundation and Hall of Fame Award". Reverse is engraved "Presented to John F. Kennedy President of the United States in recognition of his dedication to competitive athletics and his devotion of American intercollegiate football December 5, 1961"
