Physical DescriptionBlack beaver fur top hat with a two inch wide brim and a 5 1/2 inch high crown. A two inch wide black grosgrain ribbon with a bow knot protector decorates the crown above the brim.
Historical NoteThis top hat belonged to President John F. Kennedy.

Custodial History NoteItem was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum by the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation Inc. The Foundation recieved the item as a donation from the Estate of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. The hat previously belonged to John F. Kennedy.
