Physical DescriptionJewelry chest made of sterling silver with an enamel insert on lid depicting the Seal of El Salvador, the national coat of arms. The interior of the chest is lined with ruby colored velvet. The front panel below key hole is engraved: "A Dona Jaqueline Kennedy Corinao Samente, San Salvador Mayo De 1962 - Blanca De Cordon".
Additional DetailsCustodial History NoteItem was a gift to President and Mrs. Kennedy from Blanca L. De Cordon, First Lady of El Salvador. It was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library by the Estate of President John F. Kennedy in 1965.
