Physical DescriptionPedigree inside presentation folder for the Sardar (Bay), a gelding foaled in 1952. The pedigree is two pages, with Sardar's photograph on the cover page, his physical description and parentage on facing page, and record of victories on back page. The pedigree is in green leather presentation folder embossed "Sardar/ Presented to Mrs. Jacqueline B. Kennedy/ by/ The President and Government of Pakistan/ March 1962."
Historical NotePresented to Mrs. Kennedy by the President of Pakistan as proof of pedigree for the horse he gave her.

Custodial History NoteItem was a gift to President and Mrs. Kennedy from President Muhammad Ayub Khan, President of Pakistan. It was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library by Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis in 1979.
