Physical DescriptionMiniature model of the White House Blue Room wall and drapery treatments. Boudin envisioned the Blue Room as a tent like that created for Napoleon's Malmaison ("Designing Camelot" page 108). The walls were decorated with silk of white on cream stripes, a distinct contrast to the Truman era renovations, with a blue valance encircling the room below the cornice. Created for the review and approval of Mrs. John F. Kennedy.
