Historical NoteWhile this charcoal gray vest reflects the slim-fitting Ivy League style popular during John F. Kennedy's presidency, JFK himself was famously a proponent of two-piece suits and rarely wore three-piece suits with vests during his time in office.
Additional DetailsCustodial History NoteThis vest was previously owned by John F. Kennedy. It was received by the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum in 1995 and held in courtesy storage until it was donated in 2009 by the Estate of Jacqueline Kennedy through the John F. Kennedy Library.
