Physical DescriptionBasket weave navy and grey wool single breasted vest, alternating blocks of navy and grey. Vest has six buttons and four front welt pockets and a navy silk back with metal clasp.
Historical NoteThis grey wool twill custom tailored vest belonged to President Kennedy, part of his personal wardrobe.
Additional DetailsCustodial History NoteThis vest was previously owned by John F. Kennedy. It was received by the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum in 1995 from the Estate of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis at the time of her death and held in courtesy storage until it was donated in 2009 by the Estate of Jacqueline Kennedy through the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation.
