Sebastian, Ltd.

American bespoke tailors
Sebastian Ltd. was a high-end custom tailoring house located at 5 East 47th Street in New York City. It was a well-known establishment during the "Golden Age" of custom tailoring in Midtown Manhattan, often associated with elite craftsmanship and a celebrity clientele.
In the 1960s, Sebastian Ltd. was recognized for its Continental and Ivy League styles. Their work often featured the slim, structured silhouettes popular during the Kennedy era, characterized by narrow lapels and meticulously fitted trousers. Like many of its neighbors on 47th Street (which was then a hub for luxury tailors before it became the Diamond District), Sebastian Ltd. served high-profile figures in business, politics, and entertainment.
