D & J Anderson

Glasgow, Scotland, Founded 1882
D & J Anderson was a historic textile mill founded in Glasgow in 1822. They were widely considered the world's premier weaver of high-count cottons (specifically Giza 45 and Sea Island cotton).
Ties bearing their name are almost exclusively vintage 1960s cotton neckwear. These were often produced for luxury department stores (like Rich's or Wanamaker's) to highlight the prestige of the fabric used.
