Stinchfield was a high-end clothing boutique known for its presence in premier resort destinations, specifically Palm Beach, Florida, and Edgartown, Massachusetts (Martha’s Vineyard). The store was founded by George Stinchfield, and it's Egartown boutique was in operation from 1950 to 1979.

The store specialized in casual luxury apparel and accessories, including men's neckties. In the early to mid-1960s, ties were generally slim or "skinny" before transitioning to wider widths later in the decade. The "Stinchfield Style": The shop’s owner was a well-known figure on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach, often seen standing outside his store wearing colorful pants, a Panama hat, and a cashmere sweater tied around his shoulders. This aesthetic mirrored the vibrant, high-society "resort wear" for which the store was known.
