Physical DescriptionNote from Jacqueline Kennedy to Ted Sorensen dated Christmas, 1966. Two yellow legal pad pages with John F. Kennedy's notes in pencil; written in lower right corner several times are the numbers 16-32 (number of missiles) circled. All three documents are framed together.
Historical NotePresident Kennedy scribbled these notes during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Ted Sorensen, to whom they were presented by Jacqueline Kenendy after her husband's death, had served as Kennedy's Special Council during the crisis.
