Historical Note"Profiles in Courage' went through many editions. A new printing was issued to coincide with Kennedy's presidential inauguration in 1961. This printing die was used to create the gilt spine of the so-called inaugural edition.
Additional DetailsCustodial History NoteItem was owned by President Kennedy. It was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library & Museum by the Estate of President John F. Kennedy.
