Physical DescriptionCut glass paperweight etched with Presidential Seal, consisting of a spread eagle behind a shield, clutching arrows and olive branch in talons, incorrectly depicted with only 7 orbs above head rather than 13 for the original colonies. The initials "JFK" are etched on the shield. There is an etched border of stars around the seal, and etched laurel pattern running around the side. The back is plain, etched with radiating lines.
Additional DetailsCustodial History NoteThis item is material associated with the White House the Kennedy Administration and the Executive Offices of the President. It was either government property or was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum by the Estate of President John F. Kennedy in 1965.
