Physical DescriptionPaperweight commemorating President Kennedy's visit to Germany in June of 1963. Square lucite block with brass metal plate embedded in center. Embossed in center of plate in blue and red is a map of East and West Germany with the insignias of the U.S. Army units in the four corners. Inscribed in black lettering: "Visit of President John F. Kennedy, US Army Europe, Fliegerhorst Kaserne, 25 June 1963".

Custodial History NoteItem was a gift from a member of the general public to the President and Mrs. Kennedy received by the Executive Office of the President betwen 1961-1963 and held by the General Service Administration until it was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum by the Estate of President John F. Kennedy in 1965.
