Physical DescriptionSenator John F. Kennedy's delegate's badge for the 1956 Democratic National Convention. Metal badge is incised with an eagle at top that holds a blue enamel sign which reads "United States Senate" in gold lettering and under that is "Democratic National Convention 1956". Attached directly underneath are two metal bars engraved John F. Kennedy and Massachusetts. A red, white and blue grosgrain ribbon is attached to the badge from which hangs a metal seal of the city of Chicago.
