Physical DescriptionGlass pitcher with applied handle. Front of pitcher under spout is etched with the Great Seal of the United States and inscription "Presented to the Honorable John F. Kennedy President of the United States on the occasion of his birthday, May 29, 1961 by Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson on behalf of The Members of the Cabinet". Part of a set containing two water pitchers and a tray.

Custodial History NoteItem was a gift from Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson to President Kennedy received as a gift for his birthday in 1961. It was held by the General Service Administration until it was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum by the Estate of President John F. Kennedy in 1965.
