Physical DescriptionBible with a carved mother-of-pearl cover. The front of cover has a mother of pearl inlay with a nativity scene and elaborate floral border. The back cover is inlaid with a scene of the Last Supper.
Historical NoteThis bible was presented as a gift to First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy by the King of Jordan, Hussien bin Tal.

Custodial History NoteItem was a gift to President and Mrs. Kennedy from King Hussein bin Talal, King of Jordan. It was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library by the Estate of President John F. Kennedy in 1965.
