Physical DescriptionSquare wooden ink stand with 2 glass ink wells inserted into top center. A triagular piece of wood is attached at a angle to the back side. Entire surface is ornately decorated with inlaid mother of pearl.

Custodial History NoteItem was a gift from a member of the general public to the President and Mrs. Kennedy received by the Executive Office of the President in 1961 and held by the General Service Administration until it was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum by the Estate of President John F. Kennedy in 1965.
