Physical DescriptionLithograph print Abstract watercolor painting of a red ball (sun) a yellow ball (moon) and two flying "doves" one black, the other blue. The lithograph in colors 'Soleil et Lune II' was created by the French painter Georges Braque (1882-1963) in 1959. 'Soleil et Lune II' depicts two doves over a light red and a yellow circle in front of a light blue background. The lithograph was published by Édition Maeght, Paris. Signed G Braque in pencil lower center

Custodial History NoteItem was transferred to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum from the National Archives Records Administration. It was a gift to the President and Mrs. Kennedy from Raymond Loewy. It was donated to the Library by the Estate of President John F. Kennedy in 1965.
