Physical DescriptionSnakeskin portfolio. The interior has four large pockets, three smaller pockets, and two pen pockets. The entire portfolio zips closed. Attached to the zipper is a snakeskin tassel.
Historical NoteThis portfolio was presented to President John F. Kennedy by El-Ferik Ibrahim Abboud, Prime Minister of Sudan, during his state visit to the White House on October 4, 1961.

Custodial History NoteItem was a gift to President and Mrs. Kennedy from El-Ferik Ibrahim Abboud, Prime Minister of Sudan. It was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library by the Estate of President John F. Kennedy in 1965.
