Physical DescriptionOil painting depicting the moment the PT-109 patrol boat was rammed by the Japanese destroyer "Amagiri" during WWII. The PT-109 is shown cut in half by the bow of the Amagiri, with its crew members falling into the water. Vibrant blues, yellows, and orange are used to portray the action of the explosion.
