Physical DescriptionBlack and white photograph of Senator Kennedy and President Harry Truman shaking hands, matted with a letter to John F. Kennedy from President Truman. The letter reads: "Dear John, I appreciated your letter of the thirteenth regarding a photograph for Richard S. Crawley. I'll try and get one off to him promptly. I hope everything is going well with you and that it will continue to go that way. Harry Truman" There is a handwritten note to the left of Harry Truman's signature: "What a budget message."
