Physical DescriptionModel of the "Sea Witch", a Chinese clipper ship built between 1846-1856. It is a three masted, tall ship with green and brown painted hull.
Historical NoteThis ship model was displayed by President Kennedy in the Oval Office of the White House. The original Sea Witch was the first Clipper ship to go around Cape Horn to California in less than 100 days, and twice broke speed records from Canton to the United States.
