Physical DescriptionUnited States Navy, World War II round patch embroidered with image of a mosquito riding a torpedo over cresting waves, in navy blue thread on white background. This patch was worn as an emblem by those squadron's that operated the Motor Torpedo Boats referred to by the United States Navy as PT Boats (standing for Patrol Torpedo).
