Historical NoteThis medallion commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Town of Gilford, New Hampshire was presented to President John F. Kennedy by Administrator of the General Services Administration (GSA), Bernard L. Boutin in the Oval Office, White House, Washington, D.C. on August 28, 1962.
Additional DetailsCustodial History NoteItem was recieved by President Kennedy in the Oval Office of the White House and held by the General Service Administration until it was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum by the Estate of President John F. Kennedy in 1965.
