Physical DescriptionHardbound First Edition copy published by Wilfred Funk, Inc. of New York. Bound in Bancroft Elton red cloth cover. Jacket was designed by Frank Lieberman with an illustration of a sleeping lion on cover. John F. Kennedy wrote this book while he was a senior in college at Harvard University. Kennedy attempts in this book to explain why England was so ill prepared for World War II.
