Physical DescriptionSteel nib pen with black plastic grip and translucent plastic handle. Imprinted on shaft in gold lettering is "The President - The White House."
Historical NoteThis pen, given by JFK to White House Special Counsel Theodore Sorensen, was one of 16 used by President Kennedy to sign the Limited Test Ban Treaty prohibited nuclear weapons tests or other nuclear explosions under water, in the atmosphere, or in outer space. The treaty was signed in the White House Treaty Room on October 7, 1963.
