Physical DescriptionGold medal commemorating Indians of Venezuela, Chief Paramaconi. Center of medal has low relief of the head of Paramaconi with "Caciques de Venezuela Paramaconi" engraved around outer edge. Reverse has condor holding arrows in claws. Reverse reads, "Caciques de Venezuela / Acunacion 1055 - 1960 / Inter - Change Bank Suiza".
Additional DetailsCustodial History NoteItem was a gift from a member of the general public to the President and Mrs. Kennedy received by the Executive Office of the President betwen 1961-1963 and held by the General Service Administration until it was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum by the Estate of President John F. Kennedy in 1965.
