Physical DescriptionRed enamel lapel pin in the shape of the United States with American Legion insignia in center, with "US" superimposed over a star, and "Boys Nation" in gold lettering on right and left side of insignia.
Historical Notea young President Bill Clinton was part of the Boy's Nation group which presented this pin to President Kennedy during a visit to the White House in July of 1963.
Additional DetailsCustodial History NoteItem was a gift from a member of the general public to the President and Mrs. Kennedy received by the Executive Office of the President betwen 1961-1963 and held by the General Service Administration until it was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum by the Estate of President John F. Kennedy in 1965.
