Physical DescriptionCaption: "Memories". A five-part cartoon. 1) A man, Honey Fitz, changes clothes in the back of a car, with many invitations to "Speech", "Ball", "Date" in his pocket, while driving away from the rear of City Hall. "Lightining Change To Evening Dress For The Evening Grind." 2) Honey Fitz stands in the rear of an open car addressing a group. "Whirlwind Campaigning". 3) A man, "Fincom Sullivan", looks aghast at car bills left him by an exiting man who sings "Sweet Adeline". "The Terror Of The 'Fincom'". 4) A man, "Curley", stands before City Hall and offers a car for sale, "Municipal Sale - The Late Sweet Adeline Model - B.B.B. 1910". An inset shows the "B.B.B. Speedometer" showing 1,000,000 miles. 5) Honey Fitz stands at the rear of an open car and sings while his driver sleeps at the wheel. "The Municipal Caruso".
Additional DetailsCustodial History NoteItem was received through Senator Edward M. Kennedy's office. It was held by the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library Archives until it was transferred to the Museum Collection in 2024.
