Physical DescriptionCaption: "Patronage Relativity". Three-part cartoon with inside captions. 1) "Until 'Big Jim' Became Patronage Boss He Never Realized He Had So Many 'Relatives'!" A man at a desk, "Patronage Boss Jim Farley", is overwhelmed by letters on and surrounding the desk from "relatives"; two postmen carry in more bags of mail, "Farley Relatives Job Mail". 2) "And The Vast Bay State, Walsh Clan, Have Discovered David Is A Near And Distant 'Relation' -- For Job Invasion". Senator Walsh walks away from a desk, "Sen. Walsh Massachusetts Patronage" which is covered with stacks of letters, "The Bay State Walsh Clan Job Seekers Mail". 3) "Not Much Job 'Patronage' Worry Handling The Limited Ely Clan". A man, Governor Ely, sits at an empty desk and smilingly looks at the "Massachusetts Directory" under the letter "E".
