Physical DescriptionA strapless evening gown in pink silk chiffon embroidered with porcelain beads and rhinestones. The dress is gathered and pleated at bustline and has a small train.
Historical NoteFirst Lady Jacqueline Kennedy wore this gown to the opening of the Mona Lisa exhibit at the National Gallery in Washington D.C. on January 8, 1963. She also wore it to the State Dinner honoring President of India Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan on June 3, 1963 at the White House.
Additional DetailsCustodial History NoteItem is from the personal collection of President and Mrs. Kennedy. It was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum by the Estate of President John F. Kennedy in 1965.
