Physical DescriptionA collarless 3/4 sleeve chartreuse taffeta jacket worn as part of three pieces of evening ensemble.
Historical NoteFirst Lady Jacqueline Kennedy wore this jacket to the state dinner honoring Governor Luis Marin of Puerto Rico at the White House on November 13, 1961. It was also worn to a dinner hosted by Ambassador and Mrs. John Kennedth Galbraith in Jaipur, India on March 19, 1962.

Custodial History NoteItem is from the personal collection of President and Mrs. Kennedy. It was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum by the Estate of President John F. Kennedy in 1965.
