Physical DescriptionTwo-piece evening ensemble in pale green silk chiffon embroidered with sequins and rhinestones. The sleeveless shell top has a low cut back and the long skirt has a pleated at waist line. Cassini modeled this dress after the spring-summer Marc Bohan for Christian Dior model number 163.
Historical NoteFirst Lady Jacqueline Kennedy wore this dress to a dinner hosted by President Felix Houphouet-Boigny of the Ivory Coast at the Mayflower Hotel in Washington D.C. on May 24, 1962.
