Historical NoteThis toy schooner was given as a gift by the President and Mrs. Antonio Segni for JFK Jr. to President Kennedy during his European trip on July 1, 1963. The Kennedys played with this boat in the waters off Hyannis Port, MA.
Additional DetailsCustodial History NoteItem was a gift to President and Mrs. Kennedy from Antonio Segni, President of Italy. It was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library by Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis in 1980.
