Physical DescriptionMagnolia Cup Trophy from the Nice Golf Club won by John F. Kennedy. Footed cup has two handles with front engraved: "Nice Golf Club replica Magnolia Cup Presented by E. Harewood Williams 1939 won by John Kennedy". The English silver hallmarks (R & D, anchor, lion, O) translate to: Roberts and Dore, Birmingham, English standard mark, 1938.
Historical NoteThis golf trophy was wom by John F. Kennedy during a competion at the Nice Golf Club in 1939.
Additional DetailsCustodial History NoteItem is from the personal collection of President Kennedy. It was donated to the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum by Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis in 1977.
